SOUNDS SORTED MEDIA is owned by business partners Tim Cooke and Richard Place. We work with the very best creatives, producers, copywriters and digital experts, allowing us to provide a bespoke service for your needs.


Tim Cooke
Tim is an experienced writer, screenwriter and advertising copywriter. He brings his tv drama experience to his advertising copywriting, which gives him a unique perspective on how best to engage with an audience. Tim worked on some of the nation’s favourite TV shows including Eastenders, The Bill and London’s Burning. He provided script and story ideas for many others and has given seminars and talks on the art of creative writing and advertising. He has also received two national awards for his innovative creative ideas. Tim dovetailed his drama experience with advertising copywriting, working with a leading London agency on advertising campaigns for household names Nat West, Budweiser and Blockbuster Video.

Richard Place
Richard is vastly experienced in the commercial world. He has worked in sales for various media organisations, selling print space and airtime. He has developed a strong reputation for marketing and promotion. He also has considerable experience in the education and public service sectors.
Richard organises advertising for a number of police associations in the UK, including The Police Federation of England and Wales, The British Association of Women in Policing and The National Association of Retired Police Officers. He also organises the publication of the Police Insight Magazine, plus magazines on behalf of The Police and Crime Officers Association and The Police Firearms Officers Association. Richard brings a wide range of skills to the business and is an expert in media buying, giving clients the reassurance that they are always receiving the best value for their advertising investment.
