Sound Sorted Media
Who we work for
LOCALLY
Whether you are one of the region’s leading businesses or organisations, or a sole trader looking to increase revenue, SOUNDS SORTED MEDIA has a package to suit.
Perhaps you are a start up in need of getting your name out to the local public. We helped entrepreneur Francis Bell transform an idea into a thriving cottage industry, by promoting her wonderful range of bespoke products.
Maybe you’re a sole trader looking to get a bigger share of your sector’s business?
If you’re a local business looking to attract more revenue, we can advise on how best to promote yourselves, so that you really get noticed. For example, our series of innovative radio commercials for The Bed Kingdom in Barnstaple, boosted sales and upped their local profile.
Veg box business ‘Local Farm Box’ asked us to help market their new home delivery service. Our amusing commercial went on to win a national award!
Our work for Rosie Bracher Solicitors included a series of radio commercials which highlighted the specific expertise of the firm’s work, helping to raise a profile which had been largely built on word-of-mouth recommendation.
Our radio Jingle for local communication experts Zero 7 is recognised by many, and has helped them promote their innovative tech products to business across the region.
REGIONALLY AND NATIONALLY
Devonshire Living is one of the leading furniture retailers in the country, and their showroom allows people across the region to view and buy their quality furniture. Marketing of their unique ‘Splash’ events has connected local people to the substantial savings on offer during these promotions, via a series of Social Media posts, radio campaigns and a Sky TV commercial.
The region’s largest outdoor event, The North Devon Show tasks SOUNDS SORTED MEDIA with the organisation and output of all their marketing, advertising and PR. Working closely with the Show’s organisers we create a package of marketing and advertising solutions, including online content, press, digital and outdoor content, plus a series of creative radio commercials.
In 2019 we helped organise one of the biggest events North Devon has seen by liaising with South Molton firm Aramis and the Guinness Book of Records to promote the ‘Big Ball Event’. As part of the publicity in the build up to the Rugby World Cup the world’s biggest ever rugby ball [now acknowledged by Guinness in the records] was flown in to the Town’s main square by helicopter, attract PR coverage regionally, nationally and even internationally with reports on news and sports news channels as far afield as New Zealand and Fiji!
In 2020 we liaised with the Woosey family in Braunton whose son Max had recently embarked on a sleeping outdoors policy to raise money for the North Devon Hospice. Becoming known as ‘The Boy in The Tent’ we worked with the family to help maximise PR for Max in the hope it would boost his charity fundraising. Using his tv and media contacts Tim arranged for Max to appear on both ‘ITV’s Good Morning Britain and BBC’s The One Show which massively increased donations. By the time Max had spent 2 years sleeping in his tent he had raised over £600,000!
In 2021 we helped publicise a breakthrough in the fight against the spread of the Covid virus. Local brand Hygi developed a copper-based alloy that not only replicated stainless steel in looks, but crucially was able to kill the Covid virus on impact. As stainless steel was totally ineffective against the spread of the virus this was potentially a major breakthrough for the building and architecture trade. Tim liaised with the Professor behind the research, promoting this discovery with articles featuring in local, regional and national press.
